Born in Broome, Western Australia, Kurrungaya Bieundurry, professionally known as Kayps, is a 19-year-old Indigenous Walmatjarri and Bunuba artist who is quickly making his mark on the Australian music scene.

After spending his early years in Fitzroy Crossing, a remote town in the Kimberley region, Kayps relocated to Perth/Boorloo to pursue greater educational opportunities.
