FLEWNT & INKABEE are a powerhouse father-son duo of Noongar and Wongi heritage, repping Boorloo (Perth), Western Australia. FLEWNT, an award-winning MC, activist, and community leader, has passed the mic—literally and spiritually—to his son, INKABEE, who burst onto the scene at just 10 with the viral debut ‘Beat the Odds’.

Since then, the pair have taken the world by storm. Their live Bars of Steel freestyle went viral in 2023, and their anthem ‘We Dat Good’ landed them a show-stopping spot on America’s Got Talent in 2024, beaming their message into over 12 million homes. Simon Cowell called it “a moment.”

INKABEE, now 12, has already earned triple j’s Unearthed High’s Indigenous Initiative award, released singles like ‘Saved by the Bell’ and ‘No Warning’ (featuring his uncle, JJ Vacant), and continues to carve a lane as one of the country’s youngest and most exciting MCs.

Together, FLEWNT & INKABEE have performed across Australia and the U.S., hitting major festivals like SXSW (Sydney & Austin), VIVID at the Sydney Opera House, and Yarrapay Festival in Arnhem Land. They’ve rocked stages at major sporting events, from AFL’s Indigenous Round at Optus Stadium to the Rugby 7’s World Cup Finals.

Their grassroots-meets-global movement is embodied in Flewnt’s Boorloo Block Party, a First Nations hip-hop showcase that’s become a cultural force. In 2024, they took it on the road with Block Party Boom, bringing workshops, rap battles, and mainstage performances to regional towns like Broome, Geraldton, and Busselton.

FLEWNT & INKABEE are flipping the script on intergenerational storytelling—one verse at a time.
