Corrina Bonshek

With 20 years of composing across concert halls and festivals to her name, composer and sound artist Corrina Bonshek creates listening experiences that provoke wonder at the power of nature, the cosmos and the human.

In 2021, she co-founded Corrina Bonshek & Collaborators to create and tour immersive music experiences. Her latest coproduction ‘Song to the Whales’ with Oktoecho will tour Canada and New York in 2025. In April/May she is touring ‘The Space Between Us’ through Europe in four different collaborative contexts working with small and large ensembles from Korvat Auki (Finland) to soloist Luis Bittencourt and the Music School of Lisbon.

Her collaborations across cultures and genres have been a major influence on her compositional voice. Corrina was composer in residence at Experimental Music Laboratory Thailand in 2014, has created music for Taipei International Festival of Arts (2017), Rainforest Fringe Festival Sarawak Malaysia (2019), and Singapore Arts in Your Neighbourhood Festival (2022), and continues to collaborate across borders and cultures with upcoming projects with Toolbox Percussion (Hong Kong), Neil Chua (Singapore), Henry Liang (Australia)
