Raised in Leicester in the UK – started out as Label Assistant at the legendary Hut Recordings, home of Richard Ashcroft, Gomez, Smashing Pumpkins among others, and then to a nine year career at UMG in digital working under Rob Wells & Jason Iley in the UK, on to UMG Australia, and eventually to Head of Australian Artists.

Left to work at Apple, starting out in Marketing, a seven year break to run the App Store for Apple ANZ, then back to music heading up Apple Music for ANZ.

Left Apple to start his own label in Australia, specialising in vinyl at a time where most labels moved away from it. For Impressed in Australia, think Blood Records meets Inertia. Impressed has grown quickly in two years and put out records from Royel Otis, Fisher, The Wiggles as well as championing new local artists on vinyl.

Now partnered with Republic of Music for physical distribution worldwide, Impressed continues to expand. Nominated for Independent Label of The Year 2025 at the AIR Awards (after less than 2 years of existence), Impressed has begun signing artists directly, starting with Australian legends Jet, as well as a host of up-and-coming talent such as Babitha and Loose Content, partnering with Australian independent distribution company Xelon to distribute digitally worldwide.
