Sounds Australia is looking forward to returning to All About Music, taking place at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai, India from 20 – 22 August 2025.
A dedicated trade mission for peak music industry organisations has been developed around the conference, with the aim to foster international connections, promote collaboration, and facilitate business opportunities within India’s vibrant music ecosystem. Through a series of curated events, networking sessions, and industry meetings, participants will gain insights into emerging trends, forge valuable partnerships, and explore avenues for international growth in one of the world’s fastest growing music markets. As part of the trade mission, the Australian Consul General in Mumbai will also host a reception designed to facilitate professional exchange between Australian and Indian music industry representatives.
The delegation will consist of representatives from the AAM, AIR, ALMBC, AMPAL, APRA AMCOS and ARIA.
Participating in the mission will enable industry leaders to access valuable insights and connections, which can be shared with members and stakeholders to strengthen industry knowledge, expand professional networks, and enhance collective capacity.
Sounds Australia’s Executive Producer Esti Zilber will also be speaking at All About Music on a panel focused on Australian music industry insights and opportunities.
The trade mission follows on from previous Sounds Australia activity in India: from 2012-2014 Sounds Australia presented THE AUSSIE BBQ around the country, showcasing acts such as The Aston Shuffle (pictured, 2012), Big Scary, Cloud Control, Karnivool, Kate Miller-Heidke, Peking Duk, Sampology and Sarah Blasko, participated in the first-ever APRA AMCOS SongHubs in India, and led an industry delegation to events such as NH7 Weekender and Nokia Music Connects.
