Expressions Of Interest: Bangkok Music City 2026

Take part in a delegation for booking agents to attend Bangkok Music City in January.

Applications are now open to Australian-based booking agents who are interested in joining a delegation to Bangkok Music City in Thailand in January 2026.

Established in November 2019, Bangkok Music City (BMC) is the pioneer music conference and showcase festival in Thailand. The inaugural event featured 59 local and 20 international artists across 8 stages scattered around the Chareonkrung Creative District, Bangkok. It was attended by nearly 6,000 audience members and over 60 international delegates and speakers, all within a span of two days.

The highly anticipated return of BMC in 2025 was spearheaded by Live Nation Tero, Fungjai, and NYLON Thailand, with the goal of establishing BMC as one of Southeast Asia’s premier showcase festivals. The event featured a lineup of 58 artists, including some of Thailand’s top talents headlining the main stage, alongside performances by over 18 international artists. The event welcomed close to 100 international delegates, creating a dynamic, diverse, and globally connected musical experience.

Successful applicants will receive a contribution towards international flights, accommodation covered for the official delegation dates at the designated hotel, and gain access to Sounds Australia networking opportunities and the Bangkok Music City program of events, panels, and market insights designed to deepen their understanding of the Asian music industry and create meaningful partnership opportunities in the region.

Who Should Complete This Form

This form must be completed by a senior representative who has the authority to speak on behalf of your agency as a whole, ideally the Director, CEO, Head of Agency, or another executive leader. As this is an agency-level application, responses should reflect the organisation’s overall strategy, activities, and goals, not those of an individual staff member. This opportunity is specifically intended for Australian-based businesses and organisations operating within Australia.

Applications will be assessed by an external panel of industry experts to ensure a fair and balanced selection process. If your application is successful, your agency will then be invited to nominate a specific representative to attend the delegation.

If you have previously participated in a Sounds Australia trade mission in Southeast Asia, we are unable to provide support for flights or accommodation for this trip. Priority for EOIs will be given to agencies that have not yet engaged in a Southeast Asian trade mission, however Sounds Australia will still consider applications from another senior representative within your company.
