Liam Saunders’ career in the music industry started out of pure necessity. Growing up in Portland, Victoria, he was too young to travel 4-6 hours to Melbourne or Adelaide every time a band toured, so at 15, he started promoting his own shows just to bring the music to his hometown.

After moving to Melbourne, Liam spent years as a Booking Agent at New World Artists, where he worked with a massive variety of talent – from Frenchy and Wombat to Ocean Sleeper and JK-47. He took the chance to mastermind multiple 50-plus date regional tours along with multiple tours in UK, EU & NZ, proving he could handle the logistics of regional Australia and beyond, not just the major cities.

Now spearheading Pillar Talent Agency (PTA) in partnership with Lucky Group, Liam continues to represent a broad stable of artists including Darcie Haven, Ben Gerrans, 360, Mid Drift & Nan’s Favourites. Alongside his work at PTA, he also serves as the Agency Manager for Lucky Agency, a home to global and domestic heavyweights like Will Sparks, CYRIL, Havana Brown, MaRLo and Ely Oaks.

By balancing the artist-led focus of PTA with the commercial scale of Lucky Agency, Liam is able to provide a specialised service that covers almost every corner of the Australian industry – moving easily between boutique club tours, comedy/theatre tours, emerging talent and mainstage festival acts.
