Last month we welcomed a group of festival bookers to Australia who had travelled from all different parts of the world.
Representing Corona Capital (Mexico), DMZ Peace Train (South Korea), Osheaga (Canada) and Way Out West (Sweden), we took them to Party In The Paddock in Launceston and Laneway Festival in Melbourne to see the Australian acts perform, and interspersed the live music with networking events in Launceston, Melbourne and Sydney. The aim of the program was to offer an opportunity for the delegation to see Australians play on major stages in front of local fans and connect further with artist managers and the wider music industry.
A huge thank you to the teams at Party In The Paddock and Laneway Festival for having us at their festivals, and the Australian Festival Association who invited us to participate in their inaugural AFA Forum in Sydney.
