Mitch Santiago is a self-taught, multi-instrumentalist from Boorloo/Perth, Western Australia, described by triple j as a “Perth prodigy making extremely good indie rock,” spotlighted by BIGSOUND as one of “9 standout acts ready to explode,” and named a “One to Watch” by Live Nation.

His obsession with music began at age nine when he found a guitar on the side of the road. Since then, he has carved out a distinct sonic identity—writing, producing, and performing all his own music. Layering guitar, bass, drums, synths, keys and percussion, Mitch builds intricate, immersive arrangements that balance grit with melody.

His dynamic live show fuses live looping, powerful vocals and emotive lyricism into an electrifying performance that builds into a towering wall of sound. Audiences can expect a high-energy set that’s sonically rich, raw and emotionally resonant.

Since releasing his debut single ‘Falling’ at age 13, Mitch has amassed over 7 million streams, toured internationally and built a loyal global fanbase. In 2022, he showcased at BIGSOUND. In 2023, he toured nationally as main support for DREGGS, performed headline shows in London, Rotterdam and Amsterdam, and appeared at SXSW Sydney and Reeperbahn Festival (GER). In 2024, he became a rising fixture on the UK festival circuit, appearing at Tramlines, Truck Festival, Camp Bestival, Y Not Festival and Kendal Calling before heading home for a support run for LANY across Perth and New Zealand.

This year Mitch releases his next EP, Heathrow, a deeply personal release that captures the evolution of his sound: bigger, bolder and more ambitious than ever.
