Though birthed through Tik Tok virality, MUDRAT embodies a collective cult movement, fostering spaces for communal connection and material action. MUDRAT is fundamentally punk; his music challenges power and speaks for those without voices, seeking to collectivise all common people against systemic tyranny. Alongside his band THE MISCHIEF, his music blends timeless punk tropes yet sheds dogmatic limitations, freely mixing hip-hop, metal, rock, and electronic influences to ensure a diverse and unique listening experience. His lyrics aim to cut through the haze of societal conditioning, giving voice to the universal thoughts, experiences, and emotions that many feel just below their everyday consciousness. Tied together with stone-wall principles and integrity, he endeavors to meet a growing platform with an acceptance of responsibility to help, rather than basking in the comforts of success.

All these factors contribute to an emotionally invested cult following compelled to support the project to their utmost. His fanbase are rank-and-file members of an active movement, routinely contributing to various fundraising initiatives led by the band and aware of the leverage they create, which allows the artist to challenge power both within and outside the music industry.
