Inbound Exchange: Japan

In partnership with the NSW Government and Sound NSW, the Sound x Sounds Inbound Exchange is an annual program which aims to foster connections, promote collaboration and facilitate business opportunities between international music industry buyers/sellers and NSW stakeholders.

Strategically timed to coincide with SXSW Sydney, the program centres around a focus country and delivers networking events, industry panels and workshops, business matching sessions, showcases and performances, and cultural experiences.

In 2025, NSW artists and music industry professionals will have the opportunity to connect with members of the Japanese music industry. This year’s program will contain events presented by the Association of Artist Managers, the Australian Festivals Association, fbi radio, the National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Music Office, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and YouTube.
