Sydney/Berlin artist ANT ENOCH writes anthems for crying on the dance floor. His melodic bedroom pop marries his love for melancholic 1980s dance ballads with contemporary analogue aesthetics.

Fevering from isolation during the pandemic, his 2024 self-produced debut EP ‘Big Talk Big Party’ arrived like a tonic laced with vintage Japanese drum machines, deeply personal lyrics, and an ambience of piano, synthesizers, and violin. The record was self-produced in a Bankstown mattress factory and finished in Berlin through the European autumn with Grammy-award-winning producer-engineer Julia Borelli (RÜFÜS DU SOL, Hayden James, Monolink) and a tight-knit community of collaborators and released by cult indie label Embassy of Music.

For ENOCH, the DIY spirit has been there from day one. “I inherited an old upright piano and taught myself to play. Still with no formal clue on how to play it, it’s my favorite instrument to write on.” These early songwriting experiments led him to music university in Sydney and Toronto, Canada, playing at tiny clubs along Queen Street West and Southern Ontario.

Now chasing summers between Berlin and Bankstown, ANT ENOCH’s live show launched with headline shows Berlin, Munich & Sydney, a live set on Berlin’s iconic Radio Eins and festival appearances at Party in the Paddock.
