Bean Magazine

Bean Magazine are an Australian-based trio forging their own path with a blend of grunge-gaze and raw rock energy that makes for an unforgettable live experience. Henry Creamer, Gabrielle Beiers and Seb Baren weave together punk urgency, emotionally perceptive lyricism and classic rock instincts into songs that lodge themselves firmly in your head. Drawing from The Pixies, Radiohead, The Beatles, Elliott Smith and Smashing Pumpkins, the result is a sound that is unequivocally Bean Magazine.

The band have released back-to-back EPs In The Shade and Folly both of which have been combined into their debut vinyl release. Folly, produced by Sam Cromack of Ball Park Music, is a seven-track collection that invites you to sit with yourself a little longer than is comfortable. It features frustrations channelled into thrashing guitar lines and frenetic sing-alongs, and quieter moments of self-reflection and acceptance.

“It’s one of our favourite projects of the year to come out of Australia.” – 10 Magazine

“Bean Magazine have entered the scene with a bright, sun-soaked sound that’s oddly familiar, yet so fresh.” – triple j

On the live front, Bean Magazine have been relentlessly touring, 2024 saw them tour nationally alongside The Rubens, Hockey Dad and Rum Jungle. 2025 saw them step up with a mammoth 30-date national run with Ball Park Music, a sold-out headline tour celebrating their vinyl, and a 27-date tour with The Grogans.

Now, the band are bringing their live show global. This May, Bean Magazine make their international debut in the UK and Europe, across London, Amsterdam, Paris and more. The band are currently working on their debut album, being recorded with two ARIA Award-winning producers – Julian Sudek (Royel Otis) and Konstantin Kersting (Spacey Jane) with the first single due imminently. It promises to be the boldest chapter yet from one of Australia’s most exciting acts and the world is about to find out why.
