Belle Chen

London-based pianist & composer with recent headline shows including London Kings Place Hall 1 and EartH Theatre for EFG London Jazz Festival.

Her 2024 album “Ravel In The Forest” released on Platoon charted top 7 in UK & 15 in Australia, with the release accumulating 13 million streams to date.

Whilst she performs her own music on live stages, as a composer Belle’s been commissioned by Deezer, BBC Concert Orchestra, Shanghai Fashion Week, artists & filmmakers. Sync & grand rights include Gucci, Cincinnati Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, London Fashion Week. There’s also an increase in pianists reporting performances of Belle’s compositions at university exams and concerts in Australia, Europe & China.

Belle’s imaginative approach to music sees her performing fluidly across piano, keys & synthesizers, often in surprising ways. A Yamaha Artist, Belle was 1 of 3 artists involved in the global launch of CK88 stage piano. This year, she was involved in the global launch of Arturia’s KeyLab88 mk3, with her performance having been viewed over 2M times.

Belle first showcased at Classical:NEXT in 2018 & is happy to be back for a panel discussion on immersive hyperreal sound in classical music.
