Divebar Youth is the genre-bending project of Australian artist and producer Vinnie Barbaro, known for his distinct darkness across alt-pop and indie. A prolific, self-produced songwriter, Barbaro built his career from the ground up, shaped by the resilience of his immigrant family and driven by a relentless work ethic. Music became his outlet early on, and he’s since translated that into a growing international presence.
He has performed on the main stage at Laneway Festival 2025, as well as at SXSW Sydney (Rolling Stone House) and BIGSOUND, the largest music industry gathering in the Southern Hemisphere. His work has earned co-signs from Robert Smith (The Cure) and Angus & Julia Stone, alongside support from Spotify, Apple Music, triple j, and global brands including Converse, TikTok, JBL, Wild Turkey, and Smirnoff. He is now set to undertake a European tour and further dates across Australia.
