Georgia Mooney
Australian ARIA-winner Georgia Mooney makes music fit for stargazing. First known as a founding member of the acclaimed folk quartet All Our Exes Live in Texas—who toured globally with artists as varied as Backstreet Boys, Nathaniel Rateliff and Midnight Oil—Mooney now steps forward as a singular voice: multi-faceted, magnetic, and unmistakably her own.
Her debut solo album Full of Moon, co-produced with Grammy-winner Noah Georgeson (Cate Le Bon, Joanna Newsom, Marlon Williams), unveils a lush dream-folk universe. Winding melodies drift over delicate piano and a dulcimer she won in a raffle. Full of Moon earned ARIA, AIR and Australian Folk Award nominations, and acclaim from The Guardian, Rolling Stone, NME, ABC, Wonderland, House of Solo, The Daily Telegraph and more. The Australian hailed it “a triumph – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½.”
A revered musician’s musician, Mooney has toured with Passenger, Martha Wainwright, Kate Miller-Heidke, Tim Minchin, Bernard Fanning, Matt Corby and more, performing at major festivals and sold-out shows across Australia, UK, Ireland and Canada.
As charismatic a media personality as she is a musician, Mooney’s creative reach extends beyond songwriting. She co-hosts the hit comedy podcast Fwends, helms the acclaimed variety show SUPERGROUP, has MC’d major award ceremonies, and is a familiar voice on Double J and ABC Radio.
Mooney’s forthcoming second album—co-produced with UK producer Marcus Hamblett (Villagers, The Staves, Laura Marling)—marks a bold evolution, layering synths with dulcimers, dry driving rhythms and pop hooks, and shaping a sound uniquely her own: romantic avant-folk. The album features a duet with folk icon Bonnie “Prince” Billy and will accompany a year of major international touring ahead of its 2026 release.
