Hadley Agrez

Hadley Agrez is the CEO & Program Director at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival and has been working with the festival since 2018. Across his career, Hadley has focused on large-scale festival delivery in roles spanning curation, programming, operations and general management. He has a particular interest in international collaboration and artist development, and regularly participates as an industry panelist at a number of Australian and international events.

The Melbourne International Jazz Festival is the largest festival of its kind in Australia. The 27-year-old festival is presented over ten-days in October and features over 130 performances, showcasing 500+ artists and attracts 60,000 attendees. The annual artistic program balances the representation of the best of Australian and international jazz alongside performance opportunities for emerging artists. The festival also leads year-round programs that champion sector development, education, and community access.
