Heralding a distinct blend of vulnerability and empowerment, Byron Bay-based artist Kita Alexander has built a reputation for honest lyrics and infectious melodies. Her natural gift for songwriting has drawn comparisons to Taylor Swift, with a polished pop sensibility that has propelled her to the airwaves.

Kita made headlines in the industry as one of Australia’s most exciting and promising artists in 2024 with her highly anticipated debut album, Young in Love, which charted at #3 on Australian Album ARIA Chart. She sold out a headline tour presented by triple j, and received an ARIA nomination for the Michael Gudinski Breakthrough Artist at the 2024 ARIA Awards. Last year also saw Kita supporting international sensation, Madison Beer on her sold out Australian tour.

2025 is set to see Kita rise to even greater heights. At home on the stage, she’s featured on festival bills across the country, and is currently touring with Dua Lipa on her sold-out Radical Optimism tour across Australia and New Zealand. Following this tour she will travel to the UK for The Great Escape and a headline show in London.

Kita has released a string of EPs in the lead up to her 2024 debut album, including Like You Want To, Hotel, and The One, all of which introduced her as an emerging force in the Australian music industry internationally, she has signed with One Fiinix as her European agent, joining a roster alongside Ed Sheeran, Go-Jo, and Tash Sultana.

With over 300 million global streams, Kita has earned multiple ARIA accreditations, including 2× Platinum (‘Hotel’), Platinum (‘Between You & I’), and Gold (‘Damage Done’, ‘Like You Want To’). Her collaboration with FISHER, ‘Atmosphere’, became a global dance hit, reaching #1 on US radio dance charts and #14 in triple j’s Hottest 100.

Beyond music, Kita has graced the pages of Vogue, Harper’s BAZAAR, RUSSH, Gritty Pretty, NME, Rolling Stone and Billboard. Kita has also fronted campaigns for Maybelline New York, Estée Lauder and Lancôme.
