Growing up in Staghorn Flat, Victoria, Lucky burst onto the scene in a flurry of fuzzy guitars and captivating storytelling. Blending the raw energy of alternative rock, with the dreamy haze of modern indie, her music captures the nuances of life’s everyday moments and dives deep, putting you right at the centre of her world.

Starting 2026 off with a bang Lucky releases her new single ‘Adored’ and announces her debut EP Biting Heels, set for release 10 April. The track follows on from recent singles ‘Houston’, accompanied by a music video shot by ARIA Award winning Kyle Caulfield (Dom Dolla, G Flip, The Rubens), and ‘Lady Beetle’, which was added to Spotify’s coveted Fresh Finds Global playlist. The track went on to land triple j’s high rotation, and hit trending status three separate times on Shazam across Australia.

Lucky’s first 12 months on stage were also convincing — playing her debut headline shows in late 2025, and selling out the Melbourne leg of the tour ahead of time, she also played with the likes of The Belair Lip Bombs, Hockey Dad, Armlock and Dear Seattle, before tying off her support slots for the year opening for 90’s US icons Garbage around Australia. She finally wrapped the year winning the triple j Unearthed slot at Beyond The Valley Festival in Victoria.

Her appearance at BIGSOUND ’25 was also a memorable highlight, with the ABC labelling Lucky an artist to keep an eye on for 2026. She also walked away from the industry conference signing label and agency deals with Community Music & Select Music respectively.
