Lucy Sugerman

Hailing from Canberra, Australia, Lucy Sugerman has a sixth sense for storytelling. Her songwriting feels like cracking open the pages of a diary – intimate, gut-wrenching, and beautifully unfiltered. With a gift for pairing vulnerable lyricism with sticky melodic hooks, Lucy crafts alt-folk-pop that balances softness with bite, and emotional depth with melodic confidence.

Since first capturing attention through her collaboration with LANKS and early mentorships with APRA AMCOS, Sugerman has steadily carved out her own lane. She has released multiple independent EPs, earning praise for her genre-blurring sound and fearless self-expression, while continuing to evolve as a writer unafraid of emotional specificity.
