Melanie Dyer
Growing up in regional Australia on her family farm in Mount Russell, Melanie Dyer began telling her stories through song at age twelve. Inspired by her Mum’s collection of Shania Twain, Keith Urban and Patsy Cline, it was at that same young age that she fronted her first gig two hours down the road at ‘The Pub’ in Australia’s Country Music Capital, Tamworth. By 16, Melanie had accumulated 100 plane tickets to the ‘big smoke’, Sydney, where she spent time honing her craft as a budding songwriter and continued cutting her teeth on stages big and small.
A 3x CMAA Golden Guitar and APRA nominee, her albums Fresh and Between You and Me feature multiple chart-topping country radio hits, including ‘Memphis T-Shirt’ which spent 6 weeks at #1 on the official Australian network chart, saw her cross over into the mainstream on NOVA and The HIT Network and earned her an APRA nomination for Most Performed Country Work in 2021.
Melanie’s authentic blend of her farm girl roots with dynamic stagecraft and hook-driven contemporary songwriting chops has led to over 14 million streams, Spotify’s Fresh Country cover and performances at the biggest country festivals around the world, from CMA Festival (USA), CMC Rocks (AUS), Big Red Bash (AUS) to supporting American country star Cooper Alan on his sold out tour (AUS/NZ) in 2024.
Since moving to Nashville, TN in 2025, Melanie has performed at SXSW in Austin, TX and sold out The Listening Room Cafe and will perform at the CMA Festival this June. Melanie will release her highly anticipated third album in 2026.
