Hailing from Mossman, Far North Queensland, Mikhail is a proud son of the Kuku Ylanjgi people, currently residing near Ottawa, Ontario Canada. He recorded his debut EP Real in 2019 and his debut full-length self-titled album in 2023.
Both projects were released world-wide with streams now over 1 million combined and songs from the projects have received strong reviews and airplay at such notable outlets as ABC Country, BBC, CBC, NPR and Sirius XM.
He is recording a new EP in Winter 2024, to be released late Spring 2025.
