Natasha Lin
Aksuna (Natasha Lin) is an Australian pianist-composer based in Germany. She has a background as a concert pianist and palliative care music therapist, and is an associated artist with the Australian Music Centre. She is committed to creating works that strive to captivate audiences through immersive, expressive soundscapes while maintaining a high level of virtuosity and technical integrity that honors the performer’s craft.
As a performer, Aksuna has appeared at prestigious venues in Australia, both solo and with orchestras. As a composer, her works have been performed in Australia and the U.S., earning recognition in the 2022 Australian Composition Competition and 2024 Catalyst Music in Boston. She has scored three short films, including one finalist at the 2022 Flickerfest International Film Festival. Her discography includes two solo albums, an EP, commissioned works for piano and other instrumentation. Most recently, her piece, Love Child, was selected for the music label, OPIA, which was released through Universal Music.
