Her breakthrough came in 2017 when she won the prestigious Toyota Star Maker Award at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, joining the ranks of Keith Urban and Troy Cassar-Daley. Since then, her rise has been steady and significant, with multiple #1 singles on Australian Country Radio.

In 2025, Rachael made history as the only Australian female artist to achieve a #1 country radio hit that year, and one of just two Australians overall.
