Born in Goa, India, and raised in Perth, Australia, Reuben De Melo is a folk-pop singer-songwriter whose music is shaped by a life lived between two worlds. A husband, father of three, and former FIFO worker in Western Australia’s iron ore industry, Reuben writes songs about the moments that define everyday life—love, family, resilience and belonging.

His heartfelt storytelling and warm, soulful voice captured the hearts of audiences across Australia when he won The Voice Australia in 2024. Since then, he has released his debut EP When the Show’s All Over and continued building a catalogue rooted in honesty, lived experience and genuine human connection.
