Squid The Kid

Squid the Kid is breaking through as one of Australia’s most exciting new voices, blending hip hop, R&B, funk, electronic, and a dash of jazz into a sound that feels both familiar and refreshingly unique.

With comparisons to Anderson .Paak, Mac Miller, and Cordae, his slick flows and groove-driven production have earned him a growing reputation on stage and on record. Off the back of standout performances at Listen Out, Beyond the Valley, NYE on the Hill, the Australian Open, and official showcases at SXSW Sydney and Austin, Squid also programmed and headlined his own festival KOZY FEST, which featured Reyanna Maria, Tentendo, and Ivoris and more on the lineup.
