Ben Pierpoint
Ben Pierpoint is an Australian music manager, producer and cultural strategist. Based in Sydney and working internationally, Ben guides ambitious, genre-blurring artists through the full arc of career building – creative development, releases, touring, partnerships and international market growth – while keeping projects artist-led and sustainable.
Ben’s roster spans contemporary music and post-classical worlds, and includes:
DOBBY – ARIA Award winning First Nations and Filipino rapper and film composer
Milan Ring – ARIA Award nominated alt-rnb and electronic artist, writer and producer
Ngaiire – 4 x ARIA Award Nominated Papua New Guinean/Australian songwriter
GODTET – underground ambient/jazz outfit
Rose Riebl – Neo-classical pianist and composer
Christine Anu – First Nations Australian music icon
Jamaica Moana – Non-binary hiphop artist and leader in the trans-led Vogue scene
Alongside management, Ben is building new infrastructure for Australia’s contemporary and composer communities. He is developing a new record label and the Australian Ambient Recording Orchestra (AARO), an ensemble and recording initiative dedicated to ambient and post-classical works, commissions and screen-facing projects.
At IIMW, Ben’s focus is forging Australia/India collaboration: building relationships with managers, labels, publishers, platforms and programmers; creating artist exchange and co-writing pathways; and connecting Australian projects with India’s live, digital and screen ecosystems.

Working across contemporary, electronic, R&B/alt-pop and post-classical/ambient worlds, BPMgmt specialises in helping artists translate big ideas into global-facing outcomes – records, live shows, collaborations, brand partnerships and screen opportunities – without losing the heart of the work.
The company provides end-to-end management: career planning, release and campaign strategy, international export planning, touring and festival routing, team building (label/publishing/agent/PR) and partner negotiations. BPMgmt is known for working with artists that bridge scenes and forms – connecting music with visual art, fashion, film and cultural institutions – creating the conditions where artists can take creative risks with the right infrastructure behind them.
Current collaborators/clients include Milan Ring, Ngaiire, GODTET, Jamaica Moana, Christine Anu, DOBBY, Rose Riebl, Wallace and Dino Dimitriadis. BPMgmt is also developing new platforms to grow the wider ecosystem, including a new record label and the Australian Ambient Recording Orchestra (AARO), designed to expand opportunities for composers, musicians and cross-disciplinary projects.
