Catherine Haridy

Catherine Haridy is CEO of the Australian Music Centre, Australia’s national service organisation for art music, representing over 1,000 composers and sound artists. Since 2021, she has been at the helm of developing a world-leading First Nations Cultural and Intellectual Property policy, and is leading the organisation’s most significant digital transformation in its history. Catherine founded Catherine Haridy Management in 2006, which still supports multi-platinum Australian artists. As Executive Director of the Association of Artist Managers (Australia’s national peak body), she established programs supporting artist wellbeing during COVID—work recognised with the inaugural Community Engagement Award. She serves on the Australian Government’s Music Australia Council (providing strategic policy advice) and the International Association of Music Information Centres Board. Catherine has held governance roles with Music Victoria, Support Act (music industry charity), Community Broadcasting Foundation, and co-founded the Music Producers and Engineers Guild. A respected advocate, she brings cross-sector expertise spanning art music to popular and independent music.
