Hetty Kate is a British-Australian jazz vocalist and producer based in Paris, touring internationally for over 20 years across 28 countries. Her current project, Jazz in Four Seasons, is a multi-year recording cycle capturing each season in a different city with local musicians and culturally tied instrumentation.

Vol. 1, Spring, recorded in Prague with Czech artists featuring cimbalom, is released on her own label, Lisez l’Étiquette Records. Proceeds from the series support environmental organisations. Future volumes will be recorded in Asia and South America.

Hetty built her international profile as featured vocalist with James Morrison’s symphonic production The A to Z of Jazz, performing with orchestras across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe. The live recording won the Australian Jazz Bell Award. Festival appearances include Jazz à Vienne, Prague Proms, Malta Jazz Festival, Sapporo International Jazz Festival, Melbourne International Jazz Festival and New York Winter Jazz Fest. She has released eleven albums, including Dim All The Lights (ABC Jazz / Universal Music) and Under Paris Skies, which reached #2 on the Japanese jazz charts.
