Louise Potzeldt
Louise Potzeldt (nee. McKay) is a classically trained cellist, a social impact operations manager, an orchestra executive, and the founder of ensembly – a digital infrastructure designed to streamline chamber ensemble operations and rebuild human connection through live performance.
Most recently, Louise served as Acting General Manager of Darwin Symphony Orchestra. As Associate Principal Cello at the West Australian Symphony Orchestra (2011-2019) and a chamber musician with studies at Australian National Academy of Music, Adelaide Conservatorium (Bachelor of Music) and Colburn School Los Angeles (Artist Diploma), she experienced both the transformative power of the chamber-concert format and its operational challenges.
An MBA at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management with a focus on sustainability and entrepreneurship gave her the business architecture to take the vision to scale. Four years as Senior Operations Manager at OpenSC GmbH (a BCG- and WWF-founded social impact technology company in Berlin) gave her the systems-thinking and digital product expertise to build it.
She is based in Halle, Germany, where ensembly is in development and seeking its the first beta testers.
