Jazz The New Chapter
Jazz The New Chapter is a series of jazz books that I started in 2014.
The series introduced a new generation of jazz artists, including Robert Glasper, and helped change the image of jazz in Japan and bring a new audience to the music.
The first volume sold 12,000 copies in Japan, and the following volumes each sold several thousand copies. In total, I published six volumes as well as several spin-off books.
Since 2020, much of the project has moved online. Today, Jazz The New Chapter has around 30,000 followers on social media.
