Reuben De Melo

Reuben De Melo is an Australian singer-songwriter and the winner of The Voice Australia 2024. Born in Goa, India and now based in Western Australia, Reuben crafts an uplifting blend of indie folk, roots, country and pop, delivered with a soulful voice and an undeniable authenticity. His honest songwriting and raw, feel-every-word performances have won hearts across Australia.

Reuben’s journey hasn’t been your typical rise to fame. A former FIFO worker in WA’s mining industry and a proud dad of three, he traded in his steel-caps for a guitar and hasn’t looked back. even before the television platform, he racked up over 7 million Spotify streams, and sold out headline shows across WA.

In Nov 2024 & 2025 Reuben represented Australia as a delegate at the India International Film Festival, performing at the Opening Ceremony. Now, with a highly anticipated single with indian collabors on the way, an independently produced EP just released, and international shows lined up—Reuben is taking his music global.
