Last week Sounds Australia was on ground at English Folk Expo in Manchester, UK to support the incredible Australian talent at this year’s event, in collaboration with Port Fairy Folk Festival.
It’s not the first time we’ve all worked closely together, having collaborated on the pandemic-era program Global Music Match, which virtually brought together folk artists from all across the world.
After our networking dinner on Wednesday night in Manchester, Charm Of Finches, Emily Barker and Fanny Lumsden played on Thursday afternoon to a packed room at the iconic Northern Quarter venue Band On The Wall at a showcase hosted by Port Fairy Folk Festival
