VMDO Breakfast: Bangkok & Beyond

Join us in Melbourne on Wednesday February 25 for a panel on Southeast Asia.

Following the recent Bangkok Music City conference, VMDO’s Networking Breakfast series returns on Wednesday February 25 with a timely panel discussion spotlighting Southeast Asia’s rapidly expanding music markets.

Bangkok Music City (BMC) is firmly recognised as one of Southeast Asia’s most influential music conferences and showcase festivals. The 2026 edition hosted over 12,000 attendees, 180 industry delegates, and 86 artists from 16 countries.

Speakers include Dom Alessio from Sounds Australia alongside Wenona Lok (Live Nation Australia and New Zealand), Max Thomas (Secretly Distribution), and Daniel Anthony (Flagrant Artists). This panel will offer a deep dive into the Southeast Asian market, covering critical nuances in Thailand and the region, current country trends, consumer behaviour, and the relevant digital platforms.

Join VMDO for an insightful morning conversation and networking focused on building meaningful connections and unlocking new opportunities for Australian artists, managers, labels, and music businesses across Thailand and the wider Southeast Asian region. Attendees are encouraged to stay on after the panel to network and meet the speakers.

Doors open at 8:30 am
Panel begins at 9:00 am sharp
