Applications have now opened for artists interested in showcasing at Folk Alliance International 2027.
Next year’s event will be held at the Hilton Chicago from January 27 – 31, 2027.
The Folk Alliance International Conference, presented by Folk Alliance International, is the world’s largest gathering of the folk music industry and community, crossing a diverse array of genres including Appalachian, Americana, Blues, Bluegrass, Celtic, Cajun, Global Roots, Hip-Hop, Old-Time, Singer-Songwriter, Spoken Word, Traditional, Zydeco, and various fusions.
Sounds Australia has been presenting showcases at Folk Alliance International since 2010, and previous artists who have performed at the event include All Our Exes Live In Texas, Busby Marou, Charm Of Finches, Emily Wurramara, Henry Wagons, Jordie Lane, Katie Noonan, Liz Stringer, Luluc, Mia Dyson, Oh Pep!, Ruby Boots, Shelley Morris, William Crighton and Yirrmal.
