Music Australia has announced that it has renewed the Music Australia International Conference Contribution (MAICC) funding program for a further three rounds across 2026/27.
Delivered across a number of organisations, in partnership with Sounds Australia, MAICC supports Australian industry professionals to attend major international music conferences by providing essential funding to help ease the financial burden of international travel. This enables industry to undertake a reconnaissance trip to a specific international conference – and/or be on the ground to support their showcasing artist/s – during pivotal career-building moments.
Applicants can apply for grants of up to $5,000 AUD.
Three funding rounds have been confirmed for the period of July 2026 – June 2027:
- ROUND 3, 2026: Provides funding for conferences occurring between August 25 – December 31, 2026
- ROUND 1, 2027: Provides funding for conferences occurring in January, February or March 2027
- ROUND 2, 2027: Provides funding for conferences occurring in April, May or June 2027
