CMA Fest – the longest running country music festival in the world – has been growing its Australian presence every year, and for the fourth year in a row, Sounds Australia presented two showcases of incredible Australian country talent.
Before the festival kicked off, we invited industry to one of our favourite venues in the world, The 5 Spot in East Nashville, to watch two songs each by the Australians who had been programmed by CMA Fest this year. Co-hosted with Holly and Grace from Ladies Love Country, our Taste Of Australia showcase was the ideal way to start the week.
The next day we took THE AUSSIE BBQ to an actual BBQ restaurant for the very first time. From 11 in the morning until 9 at night, Australian country music took over Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint in downtown Nashville, providing the soundtrack to one of the city’s best eats and giving people a chance to dive deeper into our amazing country music scene.
