Last week, Sounds Australia was in Bremen, Germany for the 20th annual jazzahead! conference and festival.
Across four nights and three days, more than 10 Australians joined Sounds Australia in Bremen for networking events, panels, showcases and a three day trade fair. Sounds Australia, in partnership with the Australian Music Centre were proud to host the Australia stand at the trade fair, where a special “Meet The Australians” networking session was held on the Friday afternoon.
At the end of the event, jazzahead! hosted an Asia Pacific panel, featuring Sounds Australia’s own Larry Heath. At the panel, they revealed the event would be offering an Asia Pacific focus for three years, between 2027 and 2029.
Sounds Australia and the Australian Music Centre also hosted a special networking dinner, bringing the attending Australian delegation together with international tastemakers in the Jazz community.
