Inbound Exchange: Philippines

In partnership with the NSW Government and Sound NSW, the Sound x Sounds Inbound Exchange is an annual program which aims to foster connections, promote collaboration and facilitate business opportunities between international music industry buyers/sellers and NSW stakeholders.

Strategically timed to coincide with Parramatta Lanes, the program centres around a focus country and delivers networking events, industry panels and workshops, business matching sessions, showcases and performances, and cultural experiences.

Following on from previous programs which involved delegations, from India and Japan, in 2026 NSW artists and music industry professionals will have the opportunity to connect with members of the Philippines music industry.

Workshop: Navigating the Music Landscape of the Philippines

Join Sounds Australia for an exclusive session on navigating the music landscape of the Philippines. Attendees will receive a comprehensive overview of the Filipino industry and best practices for Australian artists looking to successfully break into the region.

The morning will cover music trends in the Philippines, strategies for Australian artists to connect with Filipino audiences and grow their following and explore opportunities for cross-cultural collaborations and partnerships. Featuring presentations and Q&A with members of the Filipino delegation.
