The biggest festival of Australian music in New York returns on Saturday 13 June in an exciting new location.
Presented by Sounds Australia and the Seaport, and supported by Qantas, THE AUSSIE BBQ New York City is the place to discover your next favourite Australian artist. Located on Fulton & Front St in the Seaport, it’s going to be an afternoon of incredible live music in one of New York’s most beautiful and historic neighbourhoods. Entry is free, and the show will begin at 3:00pm with a land acknowledgement by the Lenape Center.
Sounds Australia has been showcasing the next generation of Australian stars to audiences in New York since 2009. THE AUSSIE BBQ has been a regular event in the city – from CMJ Music Marathon to SummerStage and now in its brand-new home of The Seaport.
Acts such as Courtney Barnett, DMA’S, Emma Louise, Flume, G Flip, Gordi, RUFUS DU SOL, The Temper Trap, The Teskey Brothers and Tkay Maidza have all showcased with Sounds Australia in New York City. Who will you discover at this year’s event?
