Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the most upfront, influential and educational gathering for electronic music and its industry. With its conference, festival and educational breeding ground, ADE is able to create not only the biggest yearly industry tent-pole moment, but also a solid foundation for future generations of electronic music professionals and upcoming artists. The event attracts a total of more than 1,000 events in nearly 200 locations across its multidisciplinary program; for five days and nights, the city of Amsterdam truly breathes electronic music.

After much consultation with the sector, Sounds Australia is excited to announce the launch of a large-scale initiative at Amsterdam Dance Event, one of the most significant gatherings in the world for electronic music and its industry.

A pop-up activation over October 16 and 17, Australia House (ADE) will highlight the talent and global careers of our local dance and electronic community. Over two packed days, Sounds Australia will be facilitating meetings, networking events and press-focused activity, ensuring the pavilion serves as the prime destination to celebrate and connect with Australia’s dance and electronic cohort in market for ADE.

Ranked the third biggest EDM market in the world as determined by Spotify followers, Dance is one of Australia’s most thriving music exports right now, with local artists featuring prominently on festival and club lineups, winning high-profile awards and selling out huge global tours. Capitalising on this burgeoning time for the industry, Sounds Australia is leaning in and looking forward to strengthening pathways between Australia and the rest of the world.
